As part of your interview experience, you will have both informal and formal opportunities to meet with residents, fellows, and faculty members, as well as staff from all clinic sites.  Your interview day will consist of two equally important half-hour interviews: one with a resident and one with a faculty member.  Along with your interviews, you will take a tour of the hospital facilities, speak with the Program Director and Fellowship Directors, have lunch with the residents and faculty, and have plenty of time to get all of your questions answered.  Van tours of the Downtown Family Medicine Clinic and Swedish Community Health are also part of the day.

After you schedule your interview you will be sent an interview packet, via email, which will include the day's schedule, driving and parking directions, an invitation to the applicant social at one of the resident's homes the night before, and information about all three clinic sites, as well as our fellowship opportunities.  You will receive information on local accommodations, but you are also more than welcome to stay with a resident or faculty member.  If interested, please contact the residency administration office at (206) 386-6054 or email Sonya Fukeda to get connected with a host.

Interview dates

We will be conducting interviews on Thursdays in November, December, and January.  Due to the large number of requests, we are unable to accommodate applicants on other dates.
