Swedish Family Medicine Residency is one of the University of Washington Family Medicine Residency Affiliated Network programs. The Network consists of seventeen programs located within the WWAMI region - Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho.  This affiliation allows for the linkage of community programs with University resources and provides numerous benefits: collaborative research, special projects and seminars, fellowship opportunities, faculty exchange and social gatherings. Video-conferencing, email and Internet access are also available through the UW Network.
