
Analisa Calderon, MD (Sea Mar)
Education:
Analisa attended elementary school is St. Paul, MN before moving to Madrid, Spain with her family where she attended high school. She returned to Minnesota to attend Macalester College where she majored in International Studies and Spanish. After taking a couple of years off to live and work in New York City she attended medical school at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
Philosophy of Care:
Analisa believe that access to quality health care is a fundamental human right. She believes that providing quality care involves forming a partnership with patients and supporting their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being. She also believes in the importance of working to improve not only the health of individuals, but the health of larger communities.
Special Medical Interests:
Care of Latino communities, care of the underserved, obstetrics, adolescent health, health care reform.
Personal Interests:
Analisa enjoys any and all outdoor activities, especially swimming and canoeing. She is excited about the hiking opportunities in the Pacific Northwest after living in the Midwest most of her life. She also enjoys going out to dinner with friends, musical theater and traveling whenever possible.
