Education:
Anita went to elementary school through high school in Flower Mound, TX. Attended college a Washington University in St. Louis majoring in Biology and Spanish and continued on to medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. .
Philosophy of care:
Anita believes everyone has the right to quality health care delivered with compassion and humanism. She feels that each patient must be looked at not only as an individual but in the context of his or her family, culture, society, environment and social circumstances.
Special medical interests:
Care of the underserved, international health, immigrant medicine, obstetrics, medical anthropology, advocating for health care for all.
Personal interests:
Anita enjoys leaning new languages, snow, the outdoors, having friends over for a home cooked meal and spending time with her family.
