
Jessica McHugh, MD (Cherry Hill)
Education:
Jessica pursued her undergraduate education at the University of San Diego. There, she balanced her studies with surfing and lounging on the beach and graduated with a BA in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry. Immediately after graduation from college, Jessica moved to Boston to attend medical school at Boston University School of Medicine. .
Philosophy of care:
Jessica chose Family Medicine in order to provide comprehensive care to all patients. She is looking forward to building long term relationships with her patients and believes it is the role of the Family Physician to empower patients to take a vested interest in their own healthcare.
Special medical interests:
Jessica is particularly interested in maternal and child health, family planning and reproductive choice, and the management of substance abuse in pregnancy. Jessica believes pregnancy is an incredible opportunity for intervention and Family Medicine physicians can be an integral part of this process.
Personal interests:
Jessica is thrilled to be returning to her hometown of Seattle with her new husband Tyler. Outside of medicine Jessica enjoys cooking, wine tasting, gardening, travel, and spending time with family and friends.
