Darcy Constans, MD (Cherry Hill)
Darcy Constans grew up in Santa Cruz, California, went to Reed College in Portland, Oregon and then moved to New Mexico where she graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in 2007. She chose the field of Family Medicine because it is inclusive; it is about caring for the patient, their family and the community in which they reside. The doctors she has most admired have been primary care physicians who were not only excellent physicians but leaders in their communities who actively worked for social justice. She chose to come to Swedish Cherry Hill because she wanted an academically strong foundation in a community setting where she would be taught by mentors who shared her interests.Integrative medicine, behavioral health, community medicine and end of life care are her passions in medicine. When not at work, she and her husband bask in the delights of Seattle life: Kayaking the sound, baking fresh blackberry pies, seeing new bands at Bumbershoot, learning to love chicken liver terrine at Le Pichet and getting spoiled on excellent espresso.
