
Michael Erickson, M.D., Site Director
Michael Erickson is the site director of the Family Medicine Residency Program at the Seattle Indian Health Board. He is the principle advisor to all of the residents who do their continuity clinics at that training site.
Michael attended medical school at University of Washington School of Medicine and completed his family medicine residency training at our program in 2003. A board-certified Family Physician, he worked for three years at the Seattle Indian Health Board before accepting a faculty position with Swedish Family Medicine Residency Program at Cherry Hill in 2006.
His academic interests include adolescent health, chronic disease management, and sports medicine. He enjoys teaching outpatient musculoskeletal medicine. He is the lead clinician on the Healthy Heart Project (HIS) and the Diabetes Team.
Michael enjoys spending time with his friends and family, enjoying the wealth of outdoor activities and cultural experiences that the Northwest has to offer.
