Hours

Weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 noon, and 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Resident office hours are scheduled in accordance with their curriculum assignments so that conflicts are avoided. Residents are expected to be available until 5:00 pm for drop-ins.

Clinic Schedule Changes

If it is necessary to make a change in your clinic schedule, such changes must be made in advance so as not to disrupt patient care in the Clinic. Any blocking out of clinic time for any reason must be pre-arranged and approved by the Clinic Chief and the medical director.

Pharmacy

Prescriptions written for Swedish Family Medicine Clinic patients are often filled at the main pharmacy on the first floor of Swedish Hospital. Computerized patient drug profile records are kept in the pharmacy. Assistance in prescribing is provided by the Swedish Hospital clinical pharmacist.  A pharmacist is available in the clinic for resident and patient consultations daily from 12:00 - 5:00.  Patients needing medisets for medication management may contact Cabrini Tower Pharmacy.

Behavioral Science Faculty

Janet Hopkins, Psy.D., and Jonathan Wulf, Psy.D., are the clinical psychologists on the faculty. Their primary role is to teach residents to identify and intervene, when necessary, with the psychological and psychosocial issues of patients. They are available as co-therapists for individuals, couples, families, and groups. Additionally, they are available for case consultation, crisis intervention, and as a referral resource to appropriate community agencies. They are faculty leaders for the Behavioral Science curriculum and work with the Behavioral Sciences Committee to organize and present didactics.
