3.  The Seattle Community Network web page.  This is a website whose mission is to promote participation in government and public dialogue by providing a free public-access computer network for exchanging and accessing information.  It describes itself as a service conceived for community empowerment  Worth checking  out.  A good place to look for opportunities for community involvement.
4.  A great site for listings of resources for your homeless patients, or to just learn more about the issues relating to homelessness in our community.  Check it out!  This site is brought to you by a group called the Peace Heathens.  
5.  The Seattle-King County Public Health Department’s website.  Lots of interesting links to check out.  
6.  The website for the Seattle-King County Board of Health.  Look through some of the minutes from previous Board of Health meetings, to get an idea of the scope of public policy issues that the Board of Health is responsible for.  
7.  The website for the King County Health Action Plan.  A good place to begin to learn about the health status of different populations within the county, as well as the master plan for addressing the County’s health needs.
