Leadership Development Grid

1.  Determine your leadership roles (common suggestions below).

2.  In each role, define excellence in that role (i.e., to be really great at DELEGATION, I should be able to…)

3.  Rate yourself in each area (percent achieved)

4.  Identify what areas you are going to work on.

5.  WRITE DOWN your plan to improve.

6.  Re-examine your grid every Trimester with your advisor.

For self rating, define what would be excellent first (examples provided), then assign where you are as a percent of excellence achieved.
